Girls Names - Stains On Silence (LP) (Mint (M))

Media Condition: Mint (M)
Sleeve Condition: Mint (M)

Sealed MINT. Dark, fractured post-punk from the Belfast quartet, rebuilt from abandoned sessions using cut-ups, drum machines and stark electronic textures. Angular guitars, swirling synths, heavy bass and Cathal Cully’s brooding baritone create a tense, nocturnal atmosphere recalling These Immortal Souls, early PiL and Berlin-era Bowie. A slow-burning and increasingly rewarding final statement.
