Leron Thomas - More Elevator Music (2xLP) (Mint (M))

Media Condition: Mint (M)
Sleeve Condition: Mint (M)

Sealed MINT. Trumpeter, vocalist and producer Leron Thomas delivers a wonderfully eccentric blend of jazz, hip-hop, funk, disco and left-field R&B. Warm brass, deep bass grooves and loose, conversational vocals give the album the feel of an unearthed private-press oddity, while Iggy Pop appears on the smoky “In the City.” Also includes a suitably off-centre cover of Kid Creole’s “Endicott.” Adventurous, witty and effortlessly funky.
