A raw, fractured, and fiercely experimental document of one of krautrock’s most uncompromising bands. Originally presented as a collection of “archival” recordings from the 1971–1973 period (though its exact origins remain mysterious), this LP captures Faust at their most playful, confrontational, and sonically deconstructed.
Notes:
Second (not limited pressing) identifiable by pink Faust lettering on front, different coloured printing on rear (it varied from copy to copy) and no numbered sticker. Being the unreleased "Faust Party" tapes (some of which have appeared previously on limited edition collector's eps and singles, and three of which have never previously appeared at all). Recorded in Germany in 1971. "Party 7" is not mentioned on the sleeve, but is listed on the labels. c Reserved p ReR Megacorp 1988 Made in England RÉR 38 on run outs; RÉR 36 is correct catalogue number.
