Okzharp & Manthe - Closer Apart (2xLP) (Mint (M))

Media Condition: Mint (M)
Sleeve Condition: Mint (M)

REF: BE35 SEALED MINT. A sleek, futuristic meeting of South African rhythms, UK bass production and alternative R&B. Okzharp’s sparse drum programming and luminous electronics provide the setting for Manthe Ribane’s poised, distinctive vocals, moving between tender ballads and tougher, rhythmically charged club cuts.

Notes:

Recorded in London, Johannesburg, Paris, Vienna, Cape Town in 2017. Photography and painting via Nirox Arts Residency, Johannesburg.
