The original 1968 recording of the Marty Wilde/Ronnie Scott song later taken to No. 2 by The Casuals as “Jesamine.” The A-side is wistful harmony pop, while the self-written “Cave of Clear Light” delivers moody, folk-tinged psychedelia with sitar-like guitar. A strong two-sider from the Welsh group shortly before they evolved into Man
